About
Bio
I'm a master's student at the University of Michigan studying UX research and design, with a background in biopsychology, cognition, and neuroscience. I'm interested in how people think, what makes interactions intuitive, and how thoughtful design can turn complicated systems into experiences people genuinely enjoy.
My approach to design is rooted in curiosity. I like understanding why people do what they do, finding the small details that make a big difference, and creating things that feel natural to use. Whether I'm working on a digital product or exploring game design, I care about making experiences that put people first.
Currently, I'm interning at Merit Network as a UX Researcher. Between school and work, I'm exploring the intersection of UX research, product design, and interactive experiences, with a particular interest in bringing human-centered design into the games industry.

My Story
Curiosity comes first
My background in psychology taught me that understanding people is rarely straightforward. I like asking questions, challenging assumptions, and figuring out why people behave the way they do. Before thinking about solutions, I want to understand the people I'm designing for.
questions before answers.
complexity ≠ confusion.
Making complexity feel simple
Some of my favorite experiences are built on incredibly complicated systems, yet feel effortless to navigate. I'm interested in finding that balance: preserving what makes something meaningful while removing the friction that gets in the way. Good design shouldn't require an instruction manual.
Designing for the feeling
I don't think good design happens in isolation. Some of the best ideas come from conversations, unexpected perspectives, and people willing to challenge each other's thinking. I enjoy collaborating, sharing unfinished ideas, and learning from people who see problems differently than I do.
we, not me.
how does it feel?
Making the invisible visible
I believe the best experiences do more than function correctly. They make people feel something. Whether it's the satisfaction of mastering a game mechanic or the relief of navigating an intuitive interface, I'm interested in those small moments that make an experience memorable.
